NCA operates in a hybrid work mode; two days in the office and three days at telework. Staff are expected to be in the office on Tuesdays for strategic planning and other ongoing discussions. The position requires travel to the NCA Annual Convention in November and approximately one additional trip per year. This position will work in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The work mode is regularly reviewed to meet the evolving needs of the association. Such a review may necessitate changing the mode of work designation for a position.

About the Job
The National Communication Association (NCA) is seeking a results-driven professional to join our Communications & Membership team as the Website & Salesforce Manager, supporting and advancing NCA’s digital ecosystem, managing the Salesforce/Fonteva CRM, CMS, and digital platforms to enhance membership, events, resources, and organizational operations. This role serves as the primary administrator for core systems while working with internal teams and vendors to deliver reliable, accessible, and data-informed digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Website & Digital Platforms (Core Function)
Manage and update NCA websites (WordPress/Drupal), ensuring accuracy, accessibility, SEO, and usability
Coordinate enhancements, integrations, and vendor support
Maintain content quality, site structure, and alignment with brand and accessibility standards
Support updates to website policies (privacy, accessibility, terms of use)
Facilitate digital readiness for the annual Convention, including website, registration, and mobile app coordination
Serve as liaison with A/V and digital vendors; assist with troubleshooting during the event
Support pre-Convention testing and Fonteva registration/payment systems onsite
Coordinate post-Convention updates, reporting, and content and multi-media distribution
Digital Analytics & Reporting (Integrated Function)
Track and evaluate performance across web and CRM platforms
Maintain dashboards and reports supporting membership, events, and programs
Analyze trends and provide actionable recommendations to improve engagement
Content & Creative Support (Integrated Function)
Create and update digital assets (e.g., web graphics, templates, light video editing)
Ensure alignment with NCA brand and accessibility standards
Coordinate with external designers or vendors for larger projects
Maintain digital asset libraries
Digital Operations & Systems Coordination (Shared Function)
Serve as a liaison with IT providers to maintain CRM, CMS, AWS, NCA-owned website domains, and other digital systems
Support cross-platform functionality, integrations, and vendor relationships
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, IT, or related field
Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred
3–5+ years of experience with Salesforce and CRM systems, plus website management
Strong experience with Salesforce (Fonteva a plus)
Substantial background with WordPress
Familiarity with Drupal
Experience with reporting, dashboards, and data management (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM dashboards)
Exposure to integrations, APIs, or single sign-on
Skills in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and/or in other web technologies
Demonstrate graphic design proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, along with video production and post-production skills (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with a background in project management systems (Asana a plus)
Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users
