Responsible for the sale of ACTE books and products. This individual coordinates the entire order process including taking customer orders, resolving conflicts, authorizing returns, processing claims and issuing refunds. Maintains and reconciles inventory and reorders products. Responsible for setting up the onsite bookstore at the annual convention, recommending what products to take, training any temporary staff and handling customer relations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Process product orders and complete the fulfillment process to ensure timely delivery
Maintain the online bookstore section of the ACTE website (ShopACTE)
Inventory monitoring, including ordering new products, removing obsolete items, tracking backorder products; notifications of damaged products/claims and follow-up for items requested but never received
Oversee on-site product sales, bookstore setup and point of sale setup at annual convention
Provide product sales history and provide comparison reports after each convention
Provide end-of-month physical inventory counts to reconcile to iMIS inventory
Coordinate with Mailroom clerk on daily shipping of orders to ensure accuracy
Communicate with customers through various channels while maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional demeanor
Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support
Ability to travel to Annual Convention and occasionally work irregular hours as required

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Works with internal staff members and responds to Board
External: Works with vendors, tenants, visitors, members and non-members, vendors of books and products and with authors of ACTE books
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for providing quality customer service in accordance with the ACTE Customer Service Standards
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience using iMIS EMS required
Must be punctual and dependable
Minimum 2-3 years’ work experience; accounting experience preferred
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented with a high level of accurate data entry skills
