Organization Description STEM for Her is dedicated to empowering girls and young women by promoting education, fostering awareness, and creating excitement around STEM careers. Our mission is to increase opportunities and access to STEM fields, particularly for underrepresented communities. We focus on equity—gender, racial, and socio-economic—through educational programs, scholarships, events, after-school programs, and competitions. We partner with Title I schools and schools with high populations of Black and Hispanic/Latino students in the DC Metro Area, providing critical programming and scholarships to equip the leaders of tomorrow with the skills and resources needed to thrive in STEM.
