Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field, or commensurate experience.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in product management, preferably in a technology or software environment.
- Proven experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills and experience in managing and developing a department, including the ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers.
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and guide decision making.
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Superb attention to detail.
Preferred
- MBA or similar advanced degree
- Experience specifically with centralized application service products.
- Experience working in higher education, admissions, and/or associations.
ADA Specifications
- The ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) as well as to occasionally move about the office.
- Proficiency in operating office equipment, such as a computer, keyboard, mouse, and telephone.
- The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Travel Requirements
This position requires periodic travel to assigned organizational events, including the annual conference, staff retreat, vendor meetings, and meetings with member programs.
Work Environment & Benefits
This position can be performed in a fully remote location within the United States and will require occasional travel. The individual in this position must be authorized to work in the United States.
PAEA offers a competitive salary and benefits that considers external market compensation and maintains internal equity. The initial salary range for the position is $107-$125K annually.
