The Illinois Land Title Association is a primary advocate for the interests of the title insurance industry in Illinois. The Executive Director supports this mission and reports to the ILTA Board of Directors. The Executive Director ensures that the mission of the ILTA is carried out and is responsible for all aspects of the ILTA operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with the Board of Directors and the ILTA committees to assess and address issues affecting the land title industry and the association
Serve as liaison to the Board of Directors and all committees
Advise and support the Board of Directors, committee chairs, and ILTA membership
Oversee daily operations of the ILTA
In conjunction with ILTA volunteer leaders, plans and executes quarterly finance, committee, and board of directors meetings
Develop strategic partnerships to further increase community awareness and expand ILTA programs
Attends all association meetings and events
Oversee facility event rentals; serves as the principal contact for facility rentals
Coordinate with vendors, exhibitors, volunteers, and stakeholders during event planning and events
Plan and oversee the ILTA Annual Convention
Handle all aspects of the ILTA financial activities under the supervision of the ILTA Treasurer and Finance Committee for all financial activities.
Reconcile ILTA accounts monthly and participates in the quarterly audits of ILTA financials that are conducted by the ILTA Treasurer and Finance Committee
Maintains and reviews PL for the association
Report regularly to the ILTA Finance Committee and Treasurer on the health of the association finances
Serve as liaison between ILTA and ILTA’s lobbyist.
Works with Board of Directors, ILTA Legislative Chairs and ILTA’s lobbyist to carry out ILTA legislative initiatives.
Maintain the technology utilized by the ILTA, including but not limited to the Microsoft office suite, QuickBooks, Zoom, association management software
Serve as the face of the ILTA and participate in external events to increase visibility, credibility, and brand of the ILTA

The Illinois Land Title Association is a statewide organization focused on providing professional-level education and government advocacy to companies in the business of insuring titles to real estate. These activities provide a consortium of value-added services and industry networking that expands ILTA member standing within the community of the real estate market, while at the same time, protecting the consumer on what perhaps is their single most important purchase.
