NAFA Fleet Management Association seeks an education specialist to join its fully remote team. In the role of Education Coordinator, your responsibilities will involve contributing to the development of educational content, both in-person and virtual, tailored to the diverse needs of NAFA's constituents. You will also play a crucial part in ensuring the success of NAFA’s credentialing and recognition programs, including the Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) program, and other certification and assessment-based certificate programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Within the limits of NAFA’s bylaws and policies, the education coordinator is responsible for the following.
Educational programming: Support Director of Member Learning in the development and implementation of educational programs and activities.
Speaker management: Oversee coordination of speakers and presenters at both virtual and live education sessions and events.
Customer service: Provides appropriate, timely responses to all inquiries about general information, pricing, procedures, policies, etc. Identifies, supports, and encourages member and non-member certification and certificate prospects throughout the customer experience. Oversees proactive (triggered) customer communication including (not limited to) acknowledging, reviewing, and processing purchases, applications, enrollment, progress updates, completion, and (when applicable) maintenance. Monitors general email inbox.
Data management: Responsible for the accurate management, maintenance of education and certification data, within association management system (currently MemberSuite) and learning management system (currently Oasis LMS/360Factor). Monitors program trends and data, providing regular weekly and monthly updates/reports of routine statistics (e.g., KPIs and OKRs). Identifies opportunities for increased relevance, growth, and efficiency.
Marketing & communications: Participates in the development and collaboration on (with Marketing and Membership departments) a year-round marketing and communications plan including strategies to grow education and certification participation, increase revenue, re-engaged expired candidates/former certificants, and communicate value of NAFA credentials to fleet industry professionals, employers, and other stakeholders.
Community management: Manage public and/or private online communities for candidates and certificants and responsible for (not limited to) growing the reach, monitoring/seeding discussions, and cultivating engagement (retention). Manages and fosters highly engaged volunteers to support education and certification program activities.
Additional requirements:
Travel to attend overnight staff meetings, committee meetings, and events as requested or required (estimated 5-6 times per year).
While rare, work above and beyond a 37.5-hour work week may be required a few times per year seasonally, to fulfill the responsibilities and duties of the position, including some weekend work.

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent competency.
Minimum of 3 years of certification and education experience in membership associations, or equivalent knowledge of credentialing standards adult learning
Volunteer management experience.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.
Intermediate to high degree of computer literacy, excellent data entry skills, and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
Able to independently move about conferences and conventions.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Able to travel domestically and internationally by air and ground.
Able to write articles and reports for external audiences that conform to prescribed style and format.
Able to effectively present information to management, member/customer groups, and/or committees.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with a certification program that has earned NCCA (or equivalent) accreditation.
Experience withing automotive fleet/mobility industry would be an asset.
Experience with webinar-based platforms, such as Zoom.
