We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of a wide range of events. Reporting directly to the Director of Events, the Events Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating logistics, providing support to the events team, and contributing to the success of our Youth Leadership Program, StoryJam events, and Foundation initiatives. This role demands strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a passion for creating exceptional event experiences.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or related field; relevant experience will also be considered.
Proven experience (2+ years) in event coordination and logistics, with a strong track record of successful event execution.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with participants, vendors, and team members.
Proficiency in event management software, registration platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to provide exceptional service to event participants and stakeholders.
Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Interest in youth development, storytelling, and philanthropic initiatives is a plus.
