The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) is seeking a program and meetings facilitator that can provide a high level of customer service for one of the federations most successful programs. Job Duties
In the spring and fall, facilitators travel to approximately 10 meetings each season, serving as a resource to club members on-site, while acting as a liaison with hotel, restaurant, transportation, and speaker partners. Follow-through includes the development of reports for club members and internal associates.
Individuals that flourish in this position have excellent verbal and written communication skills. They can also meet deadlines while on travel with minimal supervision. You will be provided resources to become well versed in the services and programs offered by NAHB and the 20 Club program. Facilitators must have the ability able to effectively communicate program-wide messages and policies to members. If you already possess knowledge of, or the ability to learn, the basic principles of organization, good management practices and systems, you will excel in this role.
Requirements:
Minimum of four years’ experience in a customer facing role.
Experience in the association industry is preferred but not required.
Committee management experience is preferred but not required.
Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and MS Word is critical.
Bachelor's degree in business, communications, hospitality, association management, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Recent college graduates and those graduating this spring are encouraged to apply.
