Depending on performance, individual hired is expected to transition to outside sales in approximately one year. With that change comes a change to salary and a company vehicle.

WATDA Services, Inc. is a for-profit division of the Wisconsin Automobile & Truck Dealers Association, a 501(c)6 trade association serving automobile, truck, motorcycle and RV dealers in Wisconsin. We are hiring a Customer Service Salesperson to work closely with the Account Manager and other team members in a collaborative office environment.
Responsibilities:
With account manager, recommend appropriate goods and services for customers: take calls, find products/suppliers, obtain pricing, enter orders, create files, handle proofs, handle questions/problems, price order, process supplier invoice, invoice orders
Develop a rapport with customers, demonstrating a friendly and helpful manner - take orders over the phone, enter orders, serve as backup for invoicing; develop competency in handling other Association calls
Learn order processing, accounting, Office 365, and e-commerce software. Accurately record sales order, item properties, products and services offered
Foster a professional, positive and pleasant working relationship with customers and members of the customer service sales team
Transition to outside sales calls - working with Sales and Membership, develop a process to determine where calls will be made and what in-dealership support is needed, call on dealerships to present and sell WATDA Services products and services
Develop strong, positive customer relationships
Maintain a neat and clean appearance
Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
2+ years of customer service or sales experience preferred
Ability to cooperate with and support other members of sales and customer service team
Strong verbal communication skills in the English language
Strong computer skills
Willingness to interact daily with customers from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds
Must be comfortable working independently and making minor decisions without direct supervision
Good sense of organization and keen attention to detail
Knowledge of customer service best practices and desire to participate in trainings and professional development
Ability to perform well in a fast-paced working environment
Automobile dealership experience preferred
Full time Mon-Fri, 8:30 - 5:00 pm, limited flex scheduling available
