The Communications Coordinator is responsible for working with an international trade association and its publication team to communicate with members and the industry as whole through a variety of channels. The Communications Coordinator reports to the Marketing & Communications Director.
Primary Responsibilities
Write content for the magazine, social media channels, websites, press releases, and marketing materials as needed
Assist with developing and deploying e-newsletters and marketing emails
Design basic graphics for use on social media and websites
Provide support in making updates to and posting content on websites
Take our audience engagement on social media to the next level
Monitor and produce analytics reports
Conduct outreach for external advertising materials and confirm specifications
Play a key role in executing tactics for marketing the organization’s annual trade show
Stay up-to-date on trends and collaborate with the marketing and publication teams on strategies to achieve communications goals
Qualifications
Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills
Extremely organized and detail oriented
Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as email marketing platforms, content management systems (such as WordPress), HTML, and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat)
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Team player and willingness to learn new programs and skills
Associate or Bachelors degree in communication, journalism, marketing, or related field
