The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) is an independent, non-profit organization that board certifies obstetricians and gynecologists (OB-GYNs) in the United States. Founded in 1927, the ABOG is one of 24 Member Boards recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). Based in Dallas, Texas, the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology is the certifying body for over 40,000 diplomates in the United States and Canada.
