PERC has an amazing opportunity for an Industry Relations Coordinator The first energy council of its kind, the PROPANE EDUCATION & RESEARCH COUNCIL (PERC) works with the propane industry, consumers, and partner industries to increase the adoption of propane as a clean, affordable, and reliable energy source. This position is classified as non-exempt and we’re looking for the right candidate to be based out of the Philadelphia, PA, or Richmond, VA metro areas, or will consider a remote location for the perfect candidate.
The Industry Relations Coordinator provides overall support for Industry related activities that include primary support for grant administration by performing initial application review and final report analyses, meeting preparation support for the Advisory Committee and Council, and overall administrative support for the Industry Relations team through coordination of communications, website content updates, and coordination of team goals. This role performs general support duties like meeting minutes, scheduling, and basic project management. The Coordinator is also responsible for communicating with industry volunteers, reviewing and editing communications and correspondence, monitoring budgets, creating presentations, assisting in preparation and coordination of materials for department and industry meetings, events, and training workshops, and assisting in maintenance of department files, and performing data entry. This position plays a vital role in bridging the work of the Industry relations team with other teams within the organization.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Requirements:
3-5 years of administrative experience.
Advanced ability in the Microsoft Office suite of products: Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT, etc.
Familiarity and comfort with digital platforms (i.e.: Hubspot, Slack, Dropbox, Asana, Fluxx, Word Press)
Ability to provide excellent customer service by responding to queries, following up, or redirecting.
Assist with preparation of meeting presentations, agendas, materials, and correspondence.
Maintains calendar and meeting schedules
Understanding of company policies and procedures
