The Washington Academy of Family Physicians (WAFP) is hiring a Director of Research & Policy to enhance our members’ ability to serve patients and improve Washingtonians’ access to equitable and affordable health care.
Family physicians are critical to a well-functioning healthcare system, providing patients with high-quality, evidence-based, and cost-effective care. We encourage our members to see themselves as a key part of the solution in healthcare, and we advocate on their behalf. If you are interested in helping the Academy’s physician, resident, and student membership (more than 3,500 members strong!) influence the development of Washington’s health care policy, learn more by reviewing the job description, our website wafp.net, and key legislation we supported last session.
If this role seems like a good fit for you, please email email@example.com with your resume and an expression of interest. We anticipate starting the position between $80,000 - $90,000 annually (commensurate with experience) and offer comprehensive benefits. We are remote or in the office as required by work style preference and job needs.
