Scientific society is seeking a Programs Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. 2+ years’ experience in non-profit associations and/or customer-service positions preferred. Primary responsibilities include supporting and coordinating all activities for two active committees, overseeing a student chapter program, working with volunteers, providing outreach programs support, handling event details and logistics, scheduling and conducting conference calls and meetings, taking minutes, writing articles, blogging, and more. Experience with grants a plus. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills, take initiative, be a team player, flexible, able to multitask, and detail and deadline oriented.
