Are you looking for a professional opportunity that will allow you to deliver valuable online professional education through live and on-demand webinars as well as in-person meetings? The American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) is looking for a member-focused individual to join our Continuing Education Department. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Continuing Education, you will be responsible for the content that our members access on our e-Learning Center as well as being a key team member during the AAP Annual Meeting. This includes scheduling and working with speakers and moderators, facilitating live webinars, providing user support for webinars as the super-user, coordinating and tracking pre- and post-webinar needs, generating related reports, and collaborating with other AAP departments to ensure seamless member access and satisfaction.
The Continuing Education Manager also supports the Continuing Education Department at the AAP Annual Meeting. This includes operational support for the educational sessions as well as monitoring the speaker ready room, the speaker studio, electronic audience Q&A, and the hands-on workshops. This role will also be responsible for confirming that accurate CE content is included in the Annual Meeting marketing and communications materials, including the microsite, mobile app, Advance Program, and On-Site Program.
This role provides the opportunity to work with our e-learning tools in addition to collaborating with teams and working directly with our members and volunteers.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in adult professional education, content development, online learning, and/or conducting live webinars (e.g., Zoom) and would prefer (not required) a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Experience with Personify360, Abila Freestone, Cadmium, and/or Adobe Acrobat is preferred.
