Do you have experience in continuing medical education?
We are currently in search of an Education Program Specialist for a Medical Association. The position is Hybrid in Arlington Heights, IL. This is a full-time, permanent position.

SALARY RANGE: $60,000 - $64,000
Is This Your Dream Job? The Education Program Specialist is responsible for coordinating activities related to continuing medical education (CME) programming including live events, webinars and podcasts. This person interfaces with internal and external partners to implement CME processes related to these programs including educational grants, communication with event planners, staff and all CME documentation/reporting. This role will be hybrid with 3 days/week in-office.
How You Will Spend Your Day:
- Manage all materials and related online information for all live CME events
- Maintain compliant programming and documentation in accordance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education
- Prepare, solicit and track educational grant applications and reconciliations
- Report on all data related to live events
- Work with staff to record monthly webinars and podcasts
- Post course material on the LMS and update site accordingly
- Create timelines for external administrators of the meetings and programs
- Ensure review of educational content/slide presentations comply with ACCME requirements
- Provide transcript and certificate support for attendees of jointly provided programs
- Other projects as assigned

Our Ideal Candidate:
- 1-3 years of administrative and/or program support experience required
- Prior experience working in an association required (medical association preferred)
- Prior experience with continuing education/accreditation required (medical preferred)
- Highly proficient with MS Word and Excel
- Familiarity with Learning Management Software and Association Management Software a plus
