ENA is calling all experienced ED nurses and nurse educators to aid in the development of innovative educational offerings. Use your clinical and educational experience to influence nursing practice through content review and development of educational offerings to advance excellence in emergency nursing.

The Nursing Content Specialist is responsible for the content review and development of educational products and practice resources to ensure clinical accuracy, relevance to emergency nursing practice, and consistency among ENA educational offerings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures that educational product content is clinically accurate, evidence-based, and consistent with current practice and other ENA educational offerings.
Reviews and develops educational products and practice resources based on the educational needs’ assessment, professional gap identification, stakeholder feedback, market research, and related market information.
Accountable for educational content throughout the new product development process, from product concept to content development, product delivery, product evaluation, and product revision.
Collaborates with key stakeholders across ENA departments including project specialist, product management, nurse planners, marketing and business development as products are considered for development and revision.
Serves as a staff liaison to committees and work groups responsible for the development or revision of educational products. Participates in committee workgroups, per ENA’s strategic and business plan, interacting with groups in various ways. Develops agendas, materials, reports and disseminates information to appropriate individuals and groups.
Contributes to the workplace culture that is consistent with the association’s culture statement and emphasizes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Displays a high level of accountability, taking responsibility for individual actions and the impact on the organization. Views oneself as a reflection of the organization by following through on commitments and accepting ownership.
Performs additional related duties as required or assigned.
RN, BSN required.
Registered nurse; minimum of 3 years of recent experience working as an emergency nurse, nurse educator and/or advanced practice nurse
Writing experience to support evidence based practice
Highly desired master’s degree in nursing with a relevant clinical focus
ENPC or TNCC faculty
Experience with ANCC continuing education offerings
Expertise of educational program development of nurse residency, pediatrics or emergency nurse certifications review programs
Project Management experience
Publishing experience; publishing in clinical or research journals

Ability to interface with staff and external relationships in a timely, professional manner with excellent customer service abilities
Nature of work requires an ability to operate standard business office equipment. Requires ability to communicate verbally and in writing in an exchange of information; collect, compile and prepare work documents; set-up and maintain work files, participate in meetings. Use of the computer, with repetitive motion, is approximately 80% of the time.
Majority of work is performed in a general office environment. Occasional travel may be required.
