The Education Development Coordinator will assist the Education Manager with administering the Institute's certification related activities, serve as a liaison to IICRC technical advisory committees, and provide administrative support to the committees in the development of certification and education programs and processes.
Maintain up to date committee files including committee rosters and signed confidentiality agreements and NDAs for all committee members
Organize, schedule, and send reminders for committee meetings (approx. 38 committees total), as necessary (most meetings occur after 5:00 pm CT)
Update and maintain certification information within IICRC's database, including assigning appropriate members, uploading required documentation, etc.
Coordinate with the Education Manager on the overall workplan for each committee
Develop meeting minutes for committee meetings
Proofread and edit newly authored exam items on a regular basis, ensuring that form, structure, and style are consistent with IICRC's standards
Track comments and changes to certification development documents throughout the exam revision process
Beta test coordination including verifying instructor participation, schedules, and document distribution
Compile statistical data and instructor and student feedback on exam results
Create and format final exam documents for distribution including instructor exam, student exam, CPD, answer key, and study guide
General certification development efforts, committee meeting preparation, TAC committee communications, and ERG committee support
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
3-5 years minimum work experience in a comparable field
Experience working with volunteers
Five years of demonstrated data entry or computer processing experience preferred
Must have ability to perform tasks in a professional manner in a telecommute environment
Willingness to provide superior customer service.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively on concurrent projects to meet goals, and quality standards.
Ability to adapt to change, prioritize, meet deadlines, and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and diplomacy capabilities.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point), and basic editing skills required.
Self-motivated with a sense of ownership and assertive follow through skills.
