Basic Functions: Responsibilities include providing general administrative support to the education department, including customer service, supporting Education Steering Committee task force efforts, and supporting the delivery of CFMA Online education.
Responsible for working directly with the Education Manager to coordinate and produce CFMA Webinars and Online Courses, including but not limited to:
Work with the IT department for website updates as they pertain to the online learning schedule.
Send presenters correspondence in regard to stipends and process payment through finance dept.
Examine attendee evaluations of online sessions to determine if follow-up is needed and provide accordingly.
Work with publications department to provide digital articles for online education sessions.
Works closely with the Director of Education, Education Department, other CFMA staff, vendors, and volunteers to develop, maintain, and deliver educational content, including but not limited to:
Working on Education Steering Committee initiatives as needed, conducting research, coordinating task force efforts, organizing deliverables, etc.
Repurpose existing course content (recorded On-Demand Library content) to ensure that the courses are eligible for CPEs (Continuing Professional Education credits).
Responsible for providing administrative and clerical support for the Education Department, including but not limited to:
Provides customer service for CFMA’s educational products and services: assisting CFMA members and potential members and addressing general inquiries.
Uses Digitell learning management platform to manage and record participant education, and to build and track education events for registration, etc.
Maintains and uses ACGI Association Management System database to track transactions, update member records, etc.
Schedules meetings, distributes meeting materials, records and prepares committee meeting minutes, etc.
Assists in the proofreading and editing of education-related marketing materials, PowerPoint presentations, etc., as needed.
Assists with new and ongoing educational initiatives, as needed, e.g., new Business Development offering trial courses, volume discounts, etc.
Works with Director of Education, Education Manager, and VP of Operations to develop and manage the annual budget for the department.
Additional duties to include but not limited to:
Special projects assigned by the Vice President of Operations, President, and Education Steering Committee groups as needed.
Supports annual conferences, participates in staff meetings, contributes to CFMA overall.
Has contact with all departments in conjunction with the provision and maintenance of all CFMA’s educational offerings.
Has frequent contact with CFMA members and potential members, presenters, volunteers, (Subject Matter Experts), committee members, online service vendors, and others in conjunction with the coordination of all CFMA’s educational offerings.
Generally establishes own work plan, using and/or modifying standard procedures, to assure timely completion of assigned work in conformance with established policies and practices. Problems lacking clear precedent are usually reviewed with supervisor prior to taking action.
Minimum of 3 years experience in office work, administrative assistance, and customer service
Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database management, and Adobe Acrobat programs
Knowledge and experience of webinar and/or online education delivery preferred
Association experience preferred, but not required
College degree preferred, but not required
Strong organizational skills
Strong editorial/proofreading skills
Additional Salary Information: Includes ONE week paid holiday closure between Dec. 25 - Jan. 1. Potential for an annual bonus. Education and Training experience desirable and may provide the potential for growth in the department.
