RMA is currently looking for a dynamic individual that thrives in a fast paced, changing environment to join our team as the Event & Speaker Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for the planning and execution of revenue generating and non-revenue generating in person and virtual events including but not limited to meetings, conferences, webinars, courses, roundtables and forums. This role collaborates with stakeholders, internal departments, venues and vendors to develop project plans; manage content for event programs, event budgets; manage registration, housing and logistics; oversee sponsorship and exhibiter deliverables; lead speaker management and deliverables; and manage reporting and reconciliation. Principal Accountabilities - Responsible for managing in-person event logistics including but not limited to menu selection, room set up, AV equipment, breakdown of rooms etc.
- Act as the primary point of communication on all pre- and post-event speaker logistics as well as on-site speaker management at both in-person and virtual events.
- Manage virtual event logistics-platform evaluation and set-up, confirm speaker schedules , lead and coordinate production plan.
- Ownership of the content & speaker program and information pages on the website, ensures accuracy & up to date information.
- Manage overall event registration process, identifies any problems and escalates as needed.
- Support content development process.
- Support exhibit and sponsorships deliverables.
- Monitory key deliverables, track progress, provide reporting.
- Support event marketing efforts (website copy, signing, promotions, etc.)
- Support budget projections, monitor spend, develop close-out report.
- Identify opportunities for content and event sponsorship and growth areas to optimize revenue potential.
- Other duties as assigned.
