As the Manager, Programs & Education, you will participate in the planning, support, and administration of event programming activities for ACG HQ’s virtual, hybrid and live events. To be successful, you will be expected to use your experience to assist in the development, planning and support of innovative programming. This role will include program development, writing, editing and creating education content, speaker research, speaker contracting and preparation, event schedule management and on-site support activities for education events. You will also engage with the SVP to expand the reach of the association’s education and professional development platforms through individual, team-based, and committee efforts. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for the management of a monthly roundtable series, in addition to bi-monthly virtual events and one yearly annual conference, as well as anything else as assigned. Our client will rely on you to collaborate with sponsors and the sponsorship team to develop content as needed. You will also work with the event logistics team (room sets, A/V requirements, etc.) to design successful and innovative programs for ACG attendees, as well as coordinate conference calls and manage registration for stand-alone education events. In addition, you will grow and maintain ACG’s universal speaker bureau of industry speakers, moderators, and experts. As an ideal candidate, you must have association experience with in-depth knowledge of the professional education landscape, with a working knowledge of the finance world. As the Manager of Programs and Education, you’ll be responsible for the following: - Comfortable researching and vetting speakers, subject matter experts, current events/topics that will ensure ACG’s education is high-quality.
