In this base-plus-commission position, you will be responsible to serve as the first point of contact for membership prospects that are outside of existing chapter areas. Regularly communicate member value and provide assistance delivering benefits to members and prospects, focusing on long-term retention. You will be expected to provide a high level of consistent and professional customer service to members and prospects, develop a strong understanding of association value proposition and will focus on membership growth, retention, and customer service.
You are the ideal candidate if you:
Have a positive, can-do attitude.
Are a consummate professional.
Have prior experience in association membership sales (1 year minimum).
Possess a general understanding of business management concepts.
Are comfortable with significant telephone and e-mail communication with clients and prospects.
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Are customer service oriented.
Have experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms for sales and account management activities. Salesforce CRM experience definite advantage. NetForum Enterprise a plus.
Proficient in MS Office products.
Are a collaborative team player who is willing to lend a hand when your colleagues require assistance
Possess a Bachelor Degree (a plus).
