We are seeking a marketing communications manager to develop and execute integrated marketing and communications plans. This is a newly-created position where you’ll have the chance to put your own stamp on a dynamic role with coaching and guidance from your direct manager (IREM’s Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing).
As a key member of the Marketing team, you must be a critical thinker with a creative mindset. Rather than doing things ‘the way they have always been done’, you assess what’s needed and suggest new ways to get there, taking the initiative to work across teams, uncover opportunities, and solve problems.
This is a highly-visible role, as you’ll be working across several key stakeholder groups, including the IREM headquarters team, 350-400 chapter leaders, 600 volunteer leaders, and our almost 20,000 members in the real estate management profession. Your ability to clearly, creatively, and consistently communicate with these audiences through multiple channels will have a significant impact on their experience with IREM overall.
Some specific duties and responsibilities include:
Working cross-functionally to develop, execute, and measure objective-driven programs and campaigns across a coordinated mix of owned, earned and paid channels
Creating product and program content & copy for integrated campaigns including features and benefits, outcomes, and proof of value
Working collaboratively with Brand and Content teammates to deploy annual paid media plan
Developing and executing an annual strategy to engage and enable chapter leadership including resources, trainings, templates, and more
Serving as the marketing contact for our chapters and work closely with them to ensure brand consistency & marketing effectiveness in their efforts
Creating framework to communicate important programs and initiatives to our various levels of leadership
Developing and executing an internal communications plan for IREM HQ
Let your skills shine
To be successful in this role, we require a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field or at least three years of related marketing experience. A big plus is association and/or B2B marketing experience as well as knowledge of Adobe creative suite. We also prefer candidates who consider themselves presentation/PowerPoint design experts.
