Non-profit credentialing organization seeks full-time Certification Program Coordinator
Reporting to: Director of Certification Services
This position is responsible for data entry and maintenance, reviewing and approving applications, communicating with candidates on the status of their application(s), answering general certification questions, primary contact for applicant and candidate conflict resolutions, coordinating the review process of pre-certification programs and licensure activities. Performs duties to include, but not limited to, the following areas:
Coordinates all aspects of the certification programs.
Answers inquiries by applicants for all certification programs
Answers inquiries by candidates regarding application status and eligibility. Fields escalation calls to Director of Certification Services.
Monitors online applications and responsible for uploading of online application and documentation to the ABC server for review.
Responsible for data entry, maintenance and integrity of new applicants and current applicants.
Reviews and approves applications for all certification programs
Compose correspondence, reports, meeting notes and records, and other materials as needed to support department projects and activities.
Responsible for the production and mailing of eligibility and certification packets.
Responsible for the production and shipment of exam material for the Clinical Patient Management examinations.
Serves as initial primary staff contact with all candidates and potential candidates, responding to questions on certification and interpretation of the Candidate Guide. Fields calls to Director of Certification, as needed.
Serves as primary staff contact for all applicant and candidate conflict resolutions. Fields escalation calls to Director of Certification, as needed.
Maintain current, complete work files and records on areas of assignments.
Maintain balance between ongoing projects and short-term needs: prioritize tasks, monitor deadlines and communicates regularly with program director.
As necessary, assists other ABC programs.
Works on special projects as assigned by the Director of Certification.
Fitter Pre-certification Courses
Primary contact for general inquiries regarding the approval of pre-certification courses
Responsible for the initial review of pre-certification course applications and communication with sponsors regarding status of applications.
Responsible for updating and maintenance of pre-certification course listings on ABC website.
Primary contact with pre-certification course sponsors.
Serves as primary contact for all licensure examination inquiries.
Coordinates the testing of all licensure candidates in accordance with the contracts with each state.
Reports registration and score information as necessary to the state.
Bachelor’s degree with two to three years of related professional experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and positive hard-working attitude
Demonstrated ability, and commitment to, providing an extremely high level of customer service
Strong initiative required
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments
Ability to work well independently and collaboratively
Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
Demonstrated database management and maintenance skills
Experience with NetFORUM a plus
