JOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective
With more than 44,000 members, the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) is the largest organization in the world representing the interests of associations.
ASAE is seeking a Coordinator, Fundraising to join our team to implement the fundraising strategy for ASAEs federal political action committee (APAC) and The Power of A Fund, the funding vehicle that supports ASAEs legislative and regulatory initiatives. The position will assist in many aspects of coordination and administration for ASAEs Summit Awards Dinner. This role requires a highly self-motivated candidate who can manage multiple deadlines at once.

Assist the Vice President of Development and Vice President of Public Policy in all efforts, as directed, to increase engagement in core programs
Administer Foundation, APAC and Power of A fundraising inputs as assigned, into ASAE online systems
Assist with all ASAE and ASAE Foundation fundraising related efforts with the goal of increasing engagement and dollars raised
Assist in executing year-round fundraising
Work with Senior Manager, Development Operations and Donor Relations and Senior Manager, Public Policy to manage daily operations of APAC and Power of A Fund
Assist with all fundraising events
Additional duties as assigned
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Entrepreneurial spirit with strong initiative and follow through
Strong data management skills (experience with Aptify, eshow, and Cision a plus)
Demonstrated experience with event management
Must be able to exercise a high degree of strategic judgement
Ability to work under several deadlines, prioritize, and function well both autonomously and as a collaborative team member
Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment
Physical Demands Ability to lift 20 pounds on occasion
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Ability to work before and after-hours events on occasion is needed
Travel Occasional travel is required
Preferred Education and Experience
BS/BA degree in Political Science, Communications or a related field is highly desirable
