Incumbent will perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of trends in the property casualty industry, financial services industries and designs, manages, and is responsible for production of original research reports based on data driven analysis of property casualty industry and issues that could impact the industry. Analyzes and critiques external research reports and serves as a though leader for the property casualty industry related to data analysis of state and federal issues.
Actuarial, math or other financial experience related to technical analysis and analytical research.
At least 8 years of experience in analytical research, preferably in the property casualty industry.
Extensive knowledge of Industry practices including rate-making, reserving, annual statement reviews.
Ability to think strategically, critically evaluate and clearly synthesize information.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint,Excel, Visual and data analytic software.
Proficient in use of S&P Global Market Intelligence data to develop and analyze industry trends.
