The American Dental Association is dedicated to promoting the public's health through its initiatives in research, education, advocacy, public awareness and the development of standards. We have an exciting opportunity for an Accreditation Coordinator.
This position administers the recognition program for over 400 continuing dental education (CE) providers; contributes expertise in the formation and implementation of CE recognition criteria and policies, and represents the ADA Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition in the CE communities of interest. The position provides extensive consultation to CE providers preparing for recognition review. This position is also responsible for planning and coordinating training activities for CE providers and reviewers.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in education, accreditation, association management, or continuing education; working with volunteers; project management; database management; and report writing.
Excellent oral, written communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize workload, work effectively in teams and independently, demonstrate initiative, anticipate customer needs, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficient in Microsoft Access, Adobe Acrobat, and Survey tools.
Highly desirable skills:
Familiarity with accreditation systems for continuing education in the health professions.
Experience with meeting planning.
Knowledge of Content Management Application (SharePoint)
