The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Association (ASDSA), the 501 (c) 6 arm of the ASDS, is looking for an exceptional employee who can multi-task and be a contributor to our dynamic team.
Key job responsibilities include (not limited to):
Track and analyze state/federal legislation and regulation to support patient safety and dermatologic surgeon advocacy agenda;
Write and create e-newsletters and other communications pieces to support advocacy and practice affairs initiatives;
Maintain and help grow key contact lists;
Work on federal and state political fundraising projects;
Take on new challenges in the fast-paced world of physician practice/patient safety.
3-5 years work experience desired. Familiarity and interest in the legislative and regulatory process. Experience with governmental tracking services preferred, but not required. Political fundraising and PAC experience a plus. Strong verbal, writing and project management skills needed. Ability to work autonomously with direction. Be a member of a collaborative team environment.
Additional Salary Information: competitive salary offered, commiserate with experience
