We are looking for a Certification Manager to assist the Executive Director of the CBDM in day-to-day operation of our certification program. The Certification Manager will serve as the primary point of contact and liaison with other departments to provide timely, effective, accurate, and organized information as well as function as the first line for escalation of problem-solving and troubleshooting for the certification program.
Provides oversight to ensure that all exam applications are vetted according to established policies to maintain fair and impartial review of eligibility requirements
Coordinates all information related to appeals; communicates with appellants throughout the process
Serves as the first level of credential maintenance issues that are escalated from Professional Development Services, ensuring that certification policies, procedures, and processes are documented and followed
Staff liaison to Item Writers Committee
Conducts internal audit for certification indicators, reports outcomes and ensures that recommendations are implemented
Develops and conducts regular training to ensure that all policies are clearly understood
Identifies opportunities for continual improvement
Manage content on CBDM website
Manage ongoing compliance with NCCA standards
Manage and participate in special projects for the Executive Director as requested
Other duties as assigned
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), well organized, detail oriented, proactive and effective project manager, ability to manage and prioritize a variety of projects simultaneously, positive personality and a desire to work with members and nonmembers, independent thinker and problem solver, ability to work independently as well as in a team environment without direct supervision.
