DECA is looking for a talented and passionate Education Specialist to help shape the development of emerging leaders and entrepreneurs. Reporting to the Education Manager, the role will involve supporting the development and delivery of engaging and industry-specific learning opportunities experienced by over 200,000 students per year. The Education Specialist will support the department's programs, activities, and projects, and assist with the organizing, implementation and facilitation of DECA’s extensive conference, competitive events, and professional development portfolio.
Assist with the development of engaging learning resources and material.
Liaise with education professionals, including school staff, DECA members, speakers and presenters, and internal DECA staff to facilitate innovative conferences and learning experiences.
Coordinate a series of workshops, academies, and online competitive challenges.
Assist with the review of exams, scenarios, and case studies in a range of areas for international competitive events.
Write, edit, and assist with the development of educational materials, training manuals, web pages and newsletters.
Assist with the evaluation and analysis of programs and events.
Maintain records and relevant databases.
Perform other tasks as needed or assigned by the Education Manager.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree/work experience.
