The Communications Specialist is responsible for creating and managing content of interest to the SCCM Membership. This position is responsible for coordinating SCCM’s social media channels, managing and maintaining SCCM’s App, and managing the production of podcasts.  The position reports to the Senior Manager, Communications.

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate all SCCM’s social media channels
• Develop and implement social media campaigns
• Generate, edit, and publish daily to SCCM’s multiple social media platforms
• Enforce and educate others on SCCM’s social media policy
• Maintain content of SCCM’s app library
• Coordinate all submissions for apps and ensure they are appropriately managed
• Serve as the primary contact for podcast editors, overseeing the production of talking points, scheduling and post-production editing
• Write copy and identify stories to be used in all SCCM’s communications platforms
• Assist in developing video content, including storyboarding, interviews and video editing
